It Might be You

Time.. I’ve been passing time, watching the sky.
The last summer was almost drearily passed by.
But then I saw your eyes.
I think – it might be you.

Place.. if I found the place,
Would you recognize my face?
When we met every time, the request
Pound in my chest – could it be you?

Song.. I’m playing the song, hearing the clue.
So many things is whispering it must be you.
And I feel it too.
I’m feeling it’ll just be you.

Discover Challenge: Song

I fond of “It Might be You”, Stephen Bishop version. This verse got some of my favorite lines from the lyrics, which made me pretty happy to be able to mingle it into my writings and put the feeling out in my own way. And… lately, I found someone related to this song with more degree of uncertainties (lol). Probably, I have to erase this sentence in future. But this song is his forever.

Autumn Pumpkin

Autumn is around the corner;
The sweet apple pie scent in the air,
Marron glaće Mont Blanc,
Pumpkin, pumpkin everywhere!

In bakes, in cakes, in creams
But in the dream, I am unprepared.
Could this year’s seasonal tastes compare
To you who are the one in there?

# かぼちゃパフェ (大戸屋) – My pumpkin parfait after dinner today. Grilled pumpkin cubes were surprisingly good. All was a nice combination but I started to feel a bit cold eating ice cream at this time of the year.

Cough Syrup Is Always Too Sweet

Cough syrup is always too sweet.
I stare at ceiling, grit my teeth.
The night is so long when can’t sleep.
Another dry one makes me leap.

Cough syrup is always too sweet.
I am bored to count my heartbeats.
Then the weight shifts down on the sheet.
I feel your body and the heat.

Cough syrup is always too sweet.
I shake head, don’t need any treats.
You smile, whisper “try this, please?”
I smile, reply “what it is?”

The warm lips take my breath. It defeats.
Cough syrup is always too sweet.
